Nurse Manager - Float Pool (CSSO) Clinical Operations Central Staffing and Support Team

 

This position provides management and accountability for clinical PRN and benefited float staff to ensure adequate and competent staff that can provide safe and quality care.

 

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Qualifications

  • Education: BSN Required; Master's Degree in business or healthcare related field Preferred. Graduate Degree, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum five years supervisory experience in a heath care environment, required. Previous staffing experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
  • Additional Skills (required): Detail oriented, self-directed, effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, good intra and interdepartmental relationships. Creative thinker. Working knowledge of Time and Staffing/API. Ability to influence people, along with people skills to achieve outcomes that result in a win-win for the patients as well as the departments.
  • Additional Skills (preferred): Board Certified in area of practice.
