Overview

Current Position is located in Conway, South Carolina. 

The EMT provides high quality patient care and safe medical transport to sick and injured patients in all age groups, primarily in a non-emergent setting. Patient care will be consistent with approved treatment protocols. The EMT communicates and coordinates the patient’s care in an interdisciplinary model.

Qualifications

  1. Education:  High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Successful completion of an approved EMT program.
  2. Licensure / Certifications: Current South Carolina EMT certification. BCLS required. ACLS, PALS and ITLS or PHTLS preferred. Current and valid driver’s license required and must meet the requirements of the medical center’s insurance carrier. Must meet general hospital driving requirements and have a clean driving record with no moving violations within the last 3 years.  Annual EVO education is required to drive during emergency situations.

Experience: Minimum of one-year experience with a paid emergency services provider preferred.  Two years licensed driving experience required. To comply with requirements of the job, applicants must be at least 19 years of age.
